Senior Interface Engineer

On behalf of an Oil & Gas operator, WRS are looking for a Senior Interface Engineer to work in Malaysia on a contract basis. This will be a long term contract, based residentially in Kuala Lumpur, paying a monthly salary in MYR.

Job Duties include:

• Responsible for interfacing and coordinating works for both Offshore Facilities and Onshore Gas Plant projects starting from FEED/EPC tendering until completion of FEED/EPC execution, i.e. Basic engineering design, Detailed engineering design, Procurement, Construction & pre-commissioning, commissioning, plant performance test and handover to operation
• Be a project focal point to develop project coordination and interface plan both among the Project team and External parties and ensure the effective coordinating interfaces between onshore and offshore facilities with the Project team and external parties e.g. nearby Plants, Communities, JV partners, etc.
• Ensured alignment of design information share/exchange between two Project teams in a timely manner and was responsible to provide justification to resolve relevant project interface issues.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Master's Degree is an advantage but not necessary
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in Offshore Oil&Gas.
• Experiences in FEED/EPC for Offshore or Onshore gas facilities
