Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX (primarily local work)
Salary: $150,000 – $180,000+ (based on experience)

Job Description:
We are a rapidly growing engineering firm looking for a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dallas. This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional with 10-15 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems design. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across a wide range of projects, including schools, healthcare facilities, industrial, and municipal projects. You will play a key role in system integration, design, and team management, working on high-value projects ranging from $20 million to $200 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical design efforts for large-scale projects across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and municipal systems
  • Handle HVAC, plumbing, load calculations, and mechanical system integration
  • Oversee project teams, providing guidance and ensuring timely delivery of designs
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure holistic project solutions
  • Manage client relationships and communicate effectively throughout the project lifecycle
  • Perform project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and best practices
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the department, working in a flexible and evolving environment

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and system integration
  • Texas Licensed PE (Professional Engineer) is required
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects in the healthcare, education, and industrial sectors
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving work environment
  • A “startup” mentality, with a desire to contribute to the growth of the department

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $150,000 – $180,000+, with potential for higher pay based on experience
