Job Opportunity: Senior Petrophysicist
We are seeking an experienced Senior Petrophysicist to join a major operator in Kuala Lumpur. 

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Department: Lang Lebah Petroleum Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced petrophysical analyses to support exploration, development, and production activities.
• Perform reservoir characterization studies to evaluate rock and fluid properties.
• Analyse and interpret well logging data for lithology, mineralogy, and fluid contacts.
• Design and supervise logging programs for appraisal and development wells.
• Provide near real-time formation evaluation during drilling operations.
• Manage petrophysical studies for reservoir characterisation and volumetric assessment.
• Present findings to multidisciplinary teams, Joint Venture Partners, and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, reservoir engineers, and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Geology or Earth Sciences.
• 10+ years of experience in exploration and production or logging services.
• Strong knowledge of MWD/LWD, wireline logging tools, and formation evaluation techniques.
• Proficiency in petrophysical software (Geolog, Techlog, IP).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
