Position Overview A well-capitalized developer/GC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a high-profile Skilled Nursing / Senior Living project in Doral. This individual will oversee all aspects of project execution from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare or senior living construction, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments including ownership, design teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full project lifecycle from preconstruction through final turnover
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, and buyouts
  • Oversee contract negotiations, subcontractor procurement, and scope reviews
  • Develop and maintain master schedules in coordination with field leadership
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document control
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants
  • Ensure compliance with AHCA, local health departments, and life safety codes
  • Drive quality control and project documentation standards
  • Lead owner meetings and provide executive-level reporting
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies
  • Partner closely with Superintendent to ensure field success
  • Maintain strong relationships with inspectors and authorities having jurisdiction

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Direct experience with Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, or Healthcare facilities required
  • Proven track record managing $30M+ projects
  • Strong knowledge of AHCA, NFPA, FGI Guidelines, and healthcare codes
  • Experience with ground-up and major renovation projects
  • Advanced budgeting and scheduling skills (Procore, Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
