Senior Regulatory Manager – Upstream Oil & Gas
Location: Singapore
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Manager to support complex upstream oil & gas projects, covering both fixed and floating installations. This is a senior leadership role within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment, requiring strong regulatory expertise and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance activities across upstream oil & gas projects, ensuring alignment with applicable international and regional regulatory frameworks.
• Act as the focal point for regulatory strategy, interpretation, and compliance assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interface with internal engineering disciplines, project management teams, and external regulatory authorities.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to regulatory compliance engineers within the project organisation.
• Ensure project designs, execution, and documentation comply with relevant industry standards and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years’ experience within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment supporting upstream oil & gas projects (fixed and floating facilities).
• Proven experience as a Regulatory Compliance Engineer, with at least 5 years in a Regulatory Compliance Lead or Manager role.
• Strong working knowledge of oil and natural gas industry standards and upstream regulatory regimes, including UKCS, NCS, and Canadian Offshore Regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate at senior project and corporate levels.
