WRS are looking for a Site Project Engineer (Permitting) for a major EPC.
This is a contract position with an ASAP start date.  
1 year renewable contract. 

Key attributes include previous experience of planning for and obtaining Building Occupancy Certificates in Sweden and is fluent in written and verbal Swedish

Experience required: 
 

• Experience of PBL (Plan och Bygglag), BBR (Boverkets Byggregler) and EKS (Europeiska konstructionstandarderna) applied into large industrial project is required.
• Emphasis into Fire Protection Engineering would be desirable.
• Experience on implementation of EU product rules. CE markings, Conformity assessments and notified bodies
• Reports to QA Manager & Construction Manager located in Skelleftea.
• Supports permitting approval and compliance plan already prepared. Provides schedule timeline for the site work to be done in collaboration with the home office.
• Develops detail activity / deliverable vs timing vs responsibility checklists for each area of permitting (Buildings, PED assembly, ATEX, Fire Protection) in co-ordination with Home Office using plan already issued and seeks alignment with Northvolt.
• Interfacing and co-ordinating with subcontractors regards site permitting inspections / witness activities
• Responsible for daily co-ordination and permitting plan execution at site.
• Liaises with Worley Delivery manager / PEM in home office.
• Reports to Worley site Construction Manager, QA Manager.
• Interfaces daily with third party NoBo to support them in their project documentation reviews / witness / inspection.
• Interfaces daily with Client site team and attends permitting discussions and progress reviews
• Expedites action completion by all parties, in order to support overall project schedule. Reports progress in monthly reports via Construction Manager. Proposes solutions to practical hurdles which may prevent overall schedule being achieved due to permitting activity delay and liaises with parties to seek resolution.
