Spool Installation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer specialising in spool installation and tie-ins for complex infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring seamless installation support and technical oversight, both onshore and offshore. Prior diving experience is advantageous but not a requirement. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and revise general engineering schedules as per project contracts.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Define and specify tasks, materials, and services for engineering projects within allocated budgets.
- Approve and audit technical designs necessary for construction and client deliverables.
- Conduct engineering verifications, calculations, and drafting for installation methodologies.
- Summarise all methodologies in comprehensive manuals, identifying key risks or "show stoppers."
- Provide detailed reports, manuals, and drawings for onboard operational teams.
- Supervise and verify drafting of implementation methodologies.
- Oversee offshore activities and serve as a field engineer during vessel operation campaigns when required.
- Ensure the quality of materials and equipment used in projects.
- Support installation preparation and execution phases for relevant projects.
- Proven experience in spool installation and tie-ins, ideally within offshore or infrastructure projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions within contractual limits.
- Competency in engineering verifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Experience in coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals.
- Willingness to participate in offshore activities and provide on-site support when required.
- Familiarity with producing detailed manuals, reports, and supporting technical operations.
- Strong understanding of equipment and materials verification processes.
- Previous experience with diving operations is advantageous but not essential.
