Job Title: Structural Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and coordinate structural shop drawings for concrete, reinforcement, formwork, and steel structures in accordance with approved designs and project requirements.
  • Ensure all structural drawings comply with contract documents, technical specifications, approved calculations, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Coordinate structural drawings with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and BIM teams to resolve clashes and ensure constructability.
  • Work closely with the BIM Coordinator and utilize BIM/Revit software to develop, coordinate, and update structural models and shop drawings.
  • Review and follow up structural material submittals, method statements, and technical datasheets for compliance with approved specifications.
  • Manage drawing revisions, submissions, comments, and approvals, ensuring only the latest approved drawings are issued for construction.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify that structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Identify deviations, coordination issues, or structural concerns on site and report them to the Site Construction Lead for corrective action.
  • Prepare, submit, and respond to structural Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Support QA/QC inspections, as-built drawings, and structural handover documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 4–8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in high-rise or large-scale projects preferred
  • Strong experience in structural shop drawings, coordination, and BIM/Revit
