Impersonation Notice

Important Information

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is aware of a growing number of fraudsters impersonating our employees and our brand to target job seekers and organisations. These impersonators may attempt to extract personal information, apply for jobs fraudulently, post fake job advertisements, or request upfront fees from candidates.

Fraudulent activity of this kind is typically carried out through fake social media accounts on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, as well as via email addresses designed to mimic our official domain.

This is an industry-wide issue affecting many reputable recruitment agencies globally. We are committed to keeping you informed and protected.

If you are ever unsure whether a communication is genuinely from WRS, do not engage with it.

We continue to monitor the situation very closely. Please remain vigilant, and if you are unsure, please call our office to verify the identities of our consultants or reach out to info@worldwide-rs.com.

How WRS Communicates With You

We use the following established, verified channels to reach out to candidates and clients:

  • Email from our official domain only: @worldwide-rs.com
  • Direct phone calls from our registered office numbers
  • LinkedIn, where our recruiters display a Verified Recruiter badge when sending InMails or posting job openings
  • WhatsApp, only via verified recruiter profiles or groups linked to our official contact numbers

Any legitimate Microsoft Forms sent by WRS will be hosted on our verified domain (@worldwide-rs.com) and will display our company logo prominently. If the logo is missing, altered, or incorrect, treat the form as potentially fraudulent and contact us immediately.

Please reach out to info@worldwide-rs.com immediately to verify authenticity.

WRS will never:

  • Ask candidates to pay a fee for recruitment services
  • Request upfront payment or financial details via email, text, or social media
  • Send communications asking you to transfer money on behalf of any individual
  • Contact you over email from a domain other than @worldwide-rs.com

Warning Signs for Candidates

The following are clear indicators that a communication may not be from WRS:

Suspicious Requests

  • You are asked to pay any fee to be considered for a role
  • You are asked to provide sensitive personal or financial information
  • The offer seems too good to be true, such as an unusually high salary with few details
  • You are asked to communicate exclusively via personal messaging apps

Suspicious Communications

  • The message contains poor spelling, grammar, or unusual formatting
  • The email address does not end in @worldwide-rs.com
  • The message is unexpected, and you were not previously in contact with that recruiter
  • There is a link with minimal explanation of where it leads
  • The recruiter’s LinkedIn profile has no activity, few connections, or no profile photo

Warning Signs for Clients

If you are a client of WRS, please be aware of the following:

  • Any communication asking you to redirect payments to a new or different bank account, email address, or postal address. Always verify this with your usual WRS contact by phone before acting.
  • Emails claiming to be from WRS that are sent to your personal (non-business) email address
  • Requests for sensitive company information or non-business data
  • Messages with links asking for payment or login credentials with minimal context

WRS will always communicate relevant business information to your business email address and/or business telephone number unless you have instructed us otherwise. If you receive anything unusual, do not click on any links and contact your WRS consultant directly to verify.

Email address check:

All WRS employee emails follow the format: firstname.surnameinitial@worldwide-rs.com (e.g. john.s@worldwide-rs.com). No legitimate WRS email will come from Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or any domain other than @worldwide-rs.com.
