Impersonation

Scam Notice – Recruitment Company Employee Impersonators

Important Information

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is aware of unauthorised individuals impersonating as our employees to target job seekers. These impersonators may attempt to obtain personal information, apply for jobs fraudulently and, in some cases, request up-front fees from interested jobseekers. These fraudulent activities are often conducted through fake social media accounts on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and WhatsApp, as well as by posting fake job advertisements on Instagram and other social media sites.

This issue is not unique to WRS; numerous recruitment agencies and reputable organisations globally are facing similar challenges, you will find similar warnings issued on their websites to combat this problem.

How to Identify Legitimate Communication from WRS

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions will not reach out to a new connection via a messaging platform like WhatsApp. We use established channels to reach out to our candidates initially, this includes:

  • Emails from our official domain: @worldwide-rs.com
  • Direct phone calls
  • LinkedIn (from verified recruiter profiles)

When our team reaches out via LinkedIn, our recruiters will display a “Verified Recruiter” badge, visible when sending InMails or posting job openings. This badge confirms the legitimacy of the recruiter.

We continue to monitor the situation very closely. Please remain vigilant and if unsure, please call our office to verify our consultant’s identities or reach out to info@worldwide-rs.com.
