Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Boden, Sweden (with occasional travel to contractor and fabrication sites)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with 8–10 years in the quality field to join a major industrial project in Boden. This is a rare opportunity to take part in a high-profile, large-scale development while working hands-on across all phases of the project — from design to commissioning.
You’ll be at the forefront of defining, implementing, and improving quality processes, ensuring excellence across the supply chain, site operations, and internal procedures. Collaboration is key — you’ll work closely with procurement, engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to keep the project on track and compliant with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and adhere to all safety policies and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal quality regulations.
- Facilitate and monitor contractor quality processes.
- Conduct and support meetings, workshops, audits, root cause analyses, reviews, and inspections both onsite and across the supply chain.
- Collect and analyze data to support quality reporting.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and enhance the quality system.
- Coordinate with contractor representatives and third-party inspection agencies.
- Participate in technical reviews and site visits.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 8–10 years’ experience in quality engineering (industrial or construction environment).
- Strong ability to engage in technical discussions from first principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office and confident using digital tools.
