Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and coordinate mechanical shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and project requirements.
- Ensure all mechanical drawings comply with contract documents, applicable standards, and authority regulations.
- Coordinate mechanical layouts with architectural, structural, electrical, and BIM teams to resolve clashes and ensure constructability.
- Work closely with the BIM Coordinator to ensure mechanical systems are accurately reflected in BIM models.
- Review and follow up mechanical material submittals, technical datasheets, and samples for compliance with approved specifications.
- Manage drawing revisions, submissions, comments, and approvals in a controlled and traceable manner.
- Conduct site inspections to verify that mechanical installations are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings and specifications.
- Identify deviations, coordination issues, or non-compliances on site and report them to the Site Construction Lead for corrective action.
- Provide technical clarifications and prepare RFIs related to mechanical works as required during construction.
- Support QA/QC inspections, as-built documentation, testing, commissioning activities, and final handover requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4–8 years relevant experience
- Strong experience in mechanical shop drawings, BIM/Revit, and technical coordination
- Experience in high-rise or large-scale projects preferred
