The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing construction projects from start to finish. This role oversees planning, execution, and close-out to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. This is a traveling position, requiring regular travel to active project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Lead, manage, and coordinate project teams in the field and remotely
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and vendors
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality, safety, and performance standards
- Resolve project-related issues and drive solutions through completion
- Oversee project close-out, documentation, and handoff
Education
- PMP certification preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven decision-making skills in fast-paced project environments
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
Travel & Work Environment
- Traveling role with required travel to project sites as needed
- Work environment may include active job sites and office settings
- Schedule is full-time with flexibility based on project demands
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays when required by the project
