LEAD SUPERINTENDENT

Position Overview A premier development and construction firm is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to lead a landmark high-rise project in Miami. This role is responsible for overseeing all field operations from ground-up through project closeout. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record delivering complex vertical construction projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-site leadership for a large-scale high-rise project from preconstruction through turnover
- Oversee multiple superintendents, field engineers, and trade partners
- Develop and manage master schedules, phasing plans, and logistics strategies
- Enforce all safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Lead daily coordination meetings with subcontractors and internal teams
- Maintain strict quality control across all phases of construction
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Coordinate inspections with local authorities and third-party consultants
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks
- Ensure productivity targets and milestone deadlines are consistently met
- Maintain strong communication with ownership, project executives, and stakeholders
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction
- Extensive high-rise, podium, or large vertical project experience required
- Proven leadership managing $50M+ projects
- Deep understanding of scheduling, means & methods, and site logistics
- Strong knowledge of structural concrete, envelope systems, and MEP coordination
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead large teams and build strong subcontractor relationships
