We are partnering with a well-established electrical contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through completion. This is a client-facing role that requires strong relationship-building skills, operational leadership, and the ability to manage projects to successful outcomes.

This position offers the opportunity to grow through hands-on project experience, collaboration with leadership, and ongoing technical development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all company, client, and project policies and procedures are followed
  • Develop project plans including estimates, schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation
  • Oversee projects through coordination with field leadership to ensure delivery aligns with design, budget, and schedule
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage activities of internal teams and subcontractors
  • Manage project financials including billing, collections, forecasting, and cost control
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify needs, and resolve issues
  • Coordinate procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership
  • Lead project reviews with a focus on financial performance and forecasting
  • Mentor and support the development of project managers, assistant project managers, and field personnel
  • Ensure jobsite safety and compliance with company policies and national safety standards
  • Participate in company initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Journeyman Electrician license
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical construction project management
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft 365)
  • Experience with estimating and cost analysis
  • Strong knowledge of project financials, billing, and collections
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Experience mentoring and managing project teams
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain within first year)

Preferred:

  • Master Electrician license
