Job Title: Operations Excellence Coordinator Location Paris, France (La Défense) – Residential position with frequent international travel to Asia, South America, and Europe.
Contract Duration Start Date: June 2026

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Operations Excellence Coordinator to join a major international energy development project during the execution phase. This is a high-profile opportunity to play a key role in ensuring operational readiness and establishing a robust, auditable, and fit-for-purpose Operations Management System ahead of start-up.
The successful candidate will act in a transversal coordination role, working across multiple disciplines and stakeholders to align contractor documentation, company operational requirements, and readiness deliverables.
Key Responsibilities Operations Management System & Operational Excellence
- Coordinate implementation of the Field Operations Management System (FOMS).
- Ensure procedures, governance frameworks, KPIs, meeting structures, and RACI matrices are fit for purpose and operationally effective.
- Identify and manage interfaces between operations teams, internal entities, and contractors.
- Review contractor management systems and identify gaps against company operational standards.
Documentation Coordination & Readiness Delivery
- Manage and monitor an integrated roadmap of approximately 150 contractor O&M documents.
- Define priorities, critical paths, and issuance schedules.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary workshops to resolve comments, clarify expectations, and align interpretations.
- Track progress, risks, and deviations, escalating where necessary.
Operations Readiness Integration
- Build and maintain cross-reference matrices linking contractor documentation with internal operational standards and requirements.
- Identify gaps, overlaps, and missing deliverables.
- Coordinate with discipline owners to define, assign, plan, and deliver outstanding readiness items.
- Support governance processes and sponsor-led alignment workshops.
Digital Tools & Enablement
- Develop and maintain SharePoint or equivalent digital platforms for operations readiness documentation and management systems.
- Organize dashboards, registers, contracts, bridging documents, KPIs, and governance materials into accessible tools.
Candidate Profile Required Experience
- Proven experience in Operations Readiness, Operations Excellence, and Operations Management Systems within major oil & gas or energy companies.
- Previous involvement in large-scale industrial or offshore projects.
- Strong experience managing company-contractor interfaces.
- Experience coordinating complex documentation systems and readiness processes.
