We are partnering with a highly respected electrical contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support large-scale Data Center and mission critical construction projects.
The Electrical Project Manager will oversee projects from estimating and preconstruction through completion, ensuring successful delivery across budget, schedule, safety, quality, and client expectations.
This role requires close collaboration with clients, vendors, field teams, and leadership while supporting mission critical project execution in both new construction and retrofit environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company, client, and project policies and procedures
- Lead jobsite safety initiatives and ensure adherence to national safety standards
- Generate estimates and review project proposals
- Develop project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation strategies
- Oversee project execution to ensure delivery aligns with design, budget, and schedule
- Collaborate with clients to ensure expectations are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate directly with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery
- Manage billing, collections, forecasting, and cost control efforts
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and proactively address issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, field teams, and internal leadership
- Assist leadership with future labor, material, and operational planning
- Develop project scopes, budgets, RFPs, and change management documentation
- Provide consistent reporting and updates to senior leadership
- Mentor junior team members and support leadership development
Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years of electrical construction project management experience
- 1+ years of experience supporting large-scale IT, telecommunications, or Data Center projects
- Experience with Data Center electrical distribution systems, cabling, and white space fit-out
- Experience with retrofits in live or operational facilities
- Understanding of cross-discipline critical facility systems
- Strong computer and systems proficiency
- Ability to perform under deadlines and external pressure
- Strong scheduling, delegation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to leadership growth, communication, and continuous improvement
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
- Must be authorized to work full-time in the U.S. without sponsorship
