A well-established and growing mechanical/HVAC contractor in the Dunn, NC area is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead daily service operations across residential, commercial, and industrial accounts.
This is a leadership role overseeing service technicians, dispatch coordination, customer relationships, scheduling, and overall service department performance. The company has a strong reputation in the market and a steady pipeline of repeat business throughout Central and Eastern North Carolina.
Position Overview The HVAC Service Manager will be responsible for managing the service department’s day-to-day operations while ensuring high-quality customer service, technician productivity, safety compliance, and profitability. This individual will work closely with ownership and operations leadership to continue growing the service division in the Fayetteville area.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the HVAC service department
- Manage and support HVAC service technicians and field personnel
- Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and service workflows
- Maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial clients
- Assist with hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management
- Monitor department KPIs, labor utilization, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Support quoting, estimating, and service agreement opportunities
- Ensure projects and service calls are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Collaborate with operations and construction teams as needed
- Maintain compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC service management or supervisory experience
- Strong background in commercial HVAC systems required
- Experience managing technicians, dispatch, and customer service operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of service software, scheduling systems, and operational reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranging from $85,000 – $105,000 depending on experience
