Service Director – HVAC & Plumbing Services Location: Lubbock

A well-established and growing HVAC and Plumbing contractor in the Lubbock market is seeking a Service Director to lead and grow its service operations. This confidential opportunity is ideal for a proven service leader with strong HVAC operational experience and a background managing commercial and residential service teams.
This is an urgent leadership hire for a company focused on continued growth, operational excellence, and building a high-performing service department.
Service Director Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations for HVAC and Plumbing service departments
- Manage commercial and residential HVAC service operations
- Lead Service Managers, Dispatchers, and field technicians
- Drive department profitability, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and growth
- Monitor KPIs, scheduling, dispatching, technician productivity, and service performance
- Develop and improve operational processes and workflows
- Support recruiting, training, mentoring, and retention of service personnel
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and department growth
- Ensure safety, quality, and customer service standards are consistently maintained
Qualifications
- Strong HVAC service industry background required
- Experience working for a company performing similar HVAC and service-related work
- Leadership or operational management experience within HVAC service departments preferred
- Experience overseeing commercial and residential service teams
- Strong understanding of service operations, dispatching, field management, and customer relations
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Plumbing service experience is a plus, though the role is more HVAC-focused
