We are partnering with a well-established electrical contractor that is actively seeking a high-level Assistant Project Manager to support a strong pipeline of industrial electrical projects in the Ft. Myers market.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers and field leadership to support the successful execution of complex industrial projects.
Position Overview The Assistant Project Manager will support all phases of project execution including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, coordination with field teams, subcontractor management, and project documentation. This role is ideal for someone looking to continue developing within industrial electrical construction while gaining exposure to larger-scale project operations.
This is an on project site role based in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with daily project operations and execution
- Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost tracking
- Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, vendors, and subcontractors
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Assist with procurement, material tracking, and equipment coordination
- Help manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Participate in project meetings and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress and support field operations
- Ensure projects are executed in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Support project closeout and turnover processes
Qualifications
- Experience within electrical construction, field or office
- Heavy Industrial Project Experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and project coordination
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working closely with field operations and project teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $80K–$130K depending on experience
