Electrical Foreman (Commercial / MEP Construction) Location: New Orleans, LA
Pay: $35–$40/hour + Overtime + Benefits

A growing MEP contractor in the New Orleans area is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This is a confidential opportunity with a company expanding its electrical division and backlog across Louisiana.
This role is ideal for a hands-on electrical leader who can manage crews, coordinate with project teams, and ensure high-quality execution in the field.
Electrical Foreman Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate daily field activities, manpower, and jobsite logistics
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within scope
- Manage installations of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and controls
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades (HVAC, plumbing, MEP)
- Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes
- Track progress and provide updates to project leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations
- Ability to lead crews and manage multiple priorities on active jobsites
- Experience with MEP coordination and multi-trade environments
- Familiarity with NEC codes and safety standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
