What do offshore geotechnical jobs involve?
Before foundations are designed or cables buried, geotechnical teams investigate what lies beneath the seabed. Working from dedicated geotechnical vessels and jack-ups, they run cone penetration tests, recover boreholes and samples, and test soils offshore and in the laboratory.
