Company Rep WAG Manifolds – Brazil
On behalf of a major Oil & gas operator, WRS are seeking a highly experienced professional to act as Company Representative for WAG Manifolds fabrication and testing activities, based at a contractor’s worksite in Rio de Janeiro. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of subsea equipment, ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements for a major offshore project.
The role will be based residentially in Rio De Janeiro, working on a 12 month renewable contract, paying a day rate in Euro.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company at the contractor’s site for all matters related to Water Alternating Gas (WAG) manifolds and foundations.
- Supervise HSE activities, ensuring compliance with high safety and environmental standards.
- Oversee all aspects of fabrication and testing including document reviews, NDE/NDT inspections, dimensional checks, and equipment readiness.
- Ensure timely completion of inspection and testing protocols, sign-off of control documents, and issue of manufacturing record books (MRBs).
- Report progress, risks, and non-conformities; support timely resolution without compromising quality or schedule.
- Participate in audits and ensure closure of identified issues.
- Liaise closely with delivery, HSE, quality, welding, and materials leads.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including at least 15 years in large-scale offshore or subsea projects.
- Proven experience with WAG manifolds and subsea structures.
- Expertise in factory acceptance, integration, and site testing.
- Strong background in fabrication workflows and quality control.
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience; QC certifications a plus
