We’re hiring a Construction Estimator to join a dynamic and fast-moving GC in Pittsburgh. This team focuses on high-impact interior renovations and fit-outs, delivering precision and value on projects ranging up to $5 million.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and develop accurate cost estimates and conceptual budgets
- Research material, labor, and equipment pricing for a variety of scopes and market conditions
- Generate trade-specific bid packages and scopes of work to ensure full project coverage
- Support team efforts by organizing and analyzing cost data in clear, accessible formats
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to clarify project details
- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications with a high level of accuracy
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience estimating commercial renovation, TI, and/or fit-out projects
- Strong skills in quantity take-offs and scope generation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and estimating software (e.g., MC2 or similar)
- Experience reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
- Clear and confident communicator—both written and verbal
