Estimator – Special Projects Group
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

We’re hiring a Construction Estimator to join a dynamic and fast-moving GC in Pittsburgh. This team focuses on high-impact interior renovations and fit-outs, delivering precision and value on projects ranging up to $5 million.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and develop accurate cost estimates and conceptual budgets
  • Research material, labor, and equipment pricing for a variety of scopes and market conditions
  • Generate trade-specific bid packages and scopes of work to ensure full project coverage
  • Support team efforts by organizing and analyzing cost data in clear, accessible formats
  • Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to clarify project details
  • Interpret architectural drawings and specifications with a high level of accuracy

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience estimating commercial renovation, TI, and/or fit-out projects
  • Strong skills in quantity take-offs and scope generation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and estimating software (e.g., MC2 or similar)
  • Experience reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
  • Clear and confident communicator—both written and verbal
