Job Title: Construction Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Operations Manager with over 10 years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and asphalt works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the execution of multiple infrastructure projects from planning to completion.
Supervise and guide engineering teams across all project phases.
Oversee administrative functions related to construction operations.
Manage supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory, and vendor coordination.
Supervise site operations to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve operational issues.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Optimize resource allocation and logistics across multiple project sites.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency.
Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Support recruitment, training, and development of site personnel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction operations, with a focus on roads, bridges, and asphalt.
Proven leadership in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Familiarity with local construction laws, regulations, and permitting processes.

Preferred Skills:

PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Experience with government or municipal infrastructure projects.
Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
