Responsibilities
 

  • Assess and validate E&I contractor extra work requests, ensuring proper supervision of activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, policies, and specifications.
  • Assist in measuring and reporting physical progress on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Verify contractor daily reports on equipment and manpower, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
  • Promote HSE initiatives through behavioural and incentivised programs.
  • Oversee quality control checks and maintain records per project specifications.
  • Ensure contractors adhere to approved procedures, plans, and method statements.
  • Confirm use of current design documents and proper approval of design changes.
  • Ensure timely completion of construction milestones.
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship standards.
  • Verify permits are in place before work commencement.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts on construction progress.
  • Coordinate activities across disciplines as required.

 
Qualifications & Experience
 

  • Degree in E&I Engineering or equivalent qualification with extensive field experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in high, medium, and low voltage power supply systems.
  • 12+ years’ greenfield site construction experience in Oil & Gas projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Knowledge of multidiscipline construction phases, technologies, and supervision functions.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction planning, critical path analysis, and key milestones.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse technical teams.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proficient in report writing, planning, and organisation.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
