Position Overview The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout, with full ownership of budget, schedule, and execution. This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with field leadership and clients to ensure successful delivery while driving profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical construction projects from start to finish
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Drive project profitability through cost control and change order management
- Coordinate with field leadership to ensure efficient and high-quality execution
- Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with project scope
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and procurement processes
- Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and financial updates
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Oversee project documentation, invoicing, and closeout
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction project management
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and construction processes
- Experience managing projects through full lifecycle (precon to closeout)
- Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, estimating, and contract management
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working closely with field teams and construction leadership
- Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related background preferred
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus
