WRS is partnering with a leading electrical contractor seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Superintendent to oversee large-scale industrial projects. This role is responsible for leading multiple crews, driving field execution, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to high quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone with strong industrial electrical experience who thrives in fast-paced, high-demand environments.
The Industrial Electrical Superintendent will manage day-to-day field operations, coordinate crews, and oversee the installation of complex electrical systems. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts across large-scale industrial job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise multiple electrical crews on large-scale industrial projects
- Plan and manage work sequencing to ensure efficient project execution
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to guide field operations
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Identify potential safety risks and implement corrective measures
- Coordinate material procurement and manage jobsite resource needs
- Oversee installation of electrical systems including conduit, cable tray, and equipment
- Support installation and termination of high and low voltage systems
- Inspect electrical systems and components to ensure proper operation and compliance
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve field issues
- Coordinate equipment installation including rigging and hoisting as needed
- Ensure temporary power systems and grounding systems are properly installed and maintained
- Maintain jobsite productivity, quality, and schedule adherence
Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician required
- NCCER certification (Industrial Journeyman Electrician) preferred
- 5+ years of experience in electrical supervision within industrial construction
- Strong experience working with high voltage electrical systems
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage large-scale field operations
