Lead Electrical Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Minimum 4 days/week in Leatherhead
Summary:
An exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join a major Oil & Gas project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large industrial power systems design for onshore oil and gas facilities, preferably with previous Aramco project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical discipline teams across home and international offices
- Oversee and technically review electrical deliverables
- Perform sizing and selection of HV equipment, large motors, VFDs, and UPS systems
- Develop design philosophies and technical specifications
- Conduct power systems studies using ETAP or similar software
- Provide expertise in both brownfield and greenfield project environments
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading electrical engineering teams on Oil & Gas projects
- Strong understanding of industrial power systems design (Pre-FEED & FEED stages)
- Proficiency in ETAP or equivalent software for power studies
- Knowledge of high-voltage systems and related equipment
- Ability to work hybrid, with at least 4 days onsite in Leatherhead
