🔧 Job Title: Lifting Authority – Major ShutdownÂ

🔎 Summary: We are seeking a Lifting Authority to support a major refinery shutdown in Antwerp. The role includes part-time remote support during the preparation phase and full-time on-site presence during execution. You’ll oversee lifting operations, validate lifting plans, ensure HSE compliance, and collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient lifts.
đź› Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve lifting and rigging plans.
- Support planning and execution of critical lifts.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and operational procedures; conduct field audits and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams.
- Train and coach PCOLs; support LBUs in local rule implementation.
- Participate in incident investigations, risk analysis, and reporting.
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and final lift reports.

- Solid experience in lifting operations on industrial shutdowns/projects
- Strong knowledge of lifting/HSE standards and equipment
- Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills
- English required; Dutch/French a plus
