Position OverviewThe Mechanical Project Manager will oversee commercial and industrial HVAC/mechanical projects from pre-construction through closeout.
This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Projects range from mid-sized commercial work to multi-million-dollar industrial and military facilities.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial and industrial HVAC/mechanical projects from start to finish
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and cost control
  • Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
  • Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Lead owner and subcontractor meetings
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Handle billing, pay applications, and project documentation

Compensation & Benefits

  • $100,000–$130,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical or HVAC Project Manager
  • Strong background in commercial or industrial mechanical construction

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, sheet metal, and mechanical installations
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, cost control)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software preferred
