A reputable mechanical contractor based in Central Florida is conducting a confidential search for a Sales/Service Manager to oversee and grow its HVAC service division. Known for its reliability and strong client relationships, the company is looking for a driven, customer-focused leader to manage daily operations while expanding service offerings and customer base throughout the region.

Position Overview:
The Sales/Service Manager will be responsible for leading the service department, developing new business, maintaining key accounts, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across the HVAC portfolio. This is a key leadership role within the company, with direct oversight of technicians, dispatch, and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department, including scheduling, dispatch, and field performance
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the service and maintenance business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Generate service agreements and pursue long-term maintenance contracts
  • Oversee service team staffing, training, and performance management
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, quality standards, and profitability across service work
  • Collaborate with ownership and office staff to align service operations with company goals

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC service management, preferably in commercial markets
  • Proven track record of business development and account management in mechanical services
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, service procedures, and maintenance contracts
  • Ability to manage a field team and coordinate with internal administrative staff
  • Proficiency with service dispatch software and CRM systems is preferred
