We are partnering with a highly respected, established electrical contractor seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale healthcare construction projects.
This is a high-impact leadership role focused on overseeing complex electrical projects within active and highly regulated healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial leadership, operational execution, and deep healthcare project experience while managing teams, clients, and project performance from preconstruction through closeout.

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in alignment with the technical and operational demands of healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership
- Full ownership of project financial performance including budgets, forecasting, billing, revenue, margins, commitments, AR/AP, gains, and fades
- Analyze financial metrics, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective strategies
- Drive profitability through cost management and operational oversight
Estimating & Change Orders
- Prepare and review estimates, change orders, and scope analysis
- Identify scope gaps and coordinate vendor/subcontractor pricing
- Negotiate change orders with clients and stakeholders
Scheduling & Execution
- Manage project schedules and integrate with GC schedules
- Utilize scheduling software such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6
- Oversee pull planning, work breakdown structures, manpower planning, and execution strategy
- Coordinate with PMs, Superintendents, and field leadership to ensure milestones are achieved
VDC, Preconstruction & Technology
- Lead detailed preconstruction processes from award through field mobilization
- Work closely with VDC teams on 2D/3D modeling, prefabrication, and kitting strategies
- Support implementation of advanced project technologies such as Trimble or similar systems
- Ensure alignment between VDC, operations, and field execution
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and future leaders
- Establish clear roles, accountability, and feedback loops
- Foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement
Client & Market Leadership
- Manage customer, vendor, subcontractor, and internal relationships
- Maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships
- Participate in networking and business development activities as needed
Qualifications Required:
- 7+ years of Project Management experience or 3+ years as a Senior Project Manager within commercial electrical construction
- 5+ years of healthcare project experience with an electrical subcontractor
- Proven experience managing electrical projects exceeding $10M
- Strong background in estimating and change order preparation
- Strong financial acumen and operational leadership
- Experience with VDC, prefabrication, and preconstruction processes
- Proficiency with scheduling software and project management systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
