Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. This role involves overseeing complex engineering projects, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring that all mechanical systems meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, equipment, and components.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and engineering analyses.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, civil, and project management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during design, fabrication, and installation phases.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in [Oil & Gas / Renewable Energy / Construction / Manufacturing].
  • Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ISO, and other relevant standards.
  • Experience with FEA, CFD, or other simulation tools.
