This organization delivers complex HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors.
Position Overview The Senior Mechanical Estimator will lead pricing efforts for mid-to-large mechanical construction projects, preparing accurate and competitive estimates while collaborating closely with operations, project management, and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed take-offs and cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and piping scopes.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop comprehensive proposals.
- Coordinate subcontractor/vendor pricing and evaluate bid coverage.
- Identify value-engineering opportunities and risk factors.
- Support bid strategy and participate in client presentations as needed.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of mechanical estimating experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Experience estimating large commercial or mission-critical projects preferred.
- Proficiency in estimating software and digital take-off tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary (DOE).
