About the Opportunity
A leading mechanical contractor in the Lubbock, TX market is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial and industrial projects. The company has a strong reputation for quality, safety, and client satisfaction and is expanding its project management team to support continued growth.
Position Overview
The Senior Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. This role requires a strong background in commercial mechanical systems and proven leadership in managing complex projects and teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical projects ranging from $1M–$10M+.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
- Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, and engineers.
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and project engineers.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of mechanical construction/project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
- Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $130K–$150K, based on experience.
