Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction
Location: Southwest Florida/ Fort Myers, FL

An established and nationally recognized general contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Fort Myers operation. This individual will take a leadership role on large-scale commercial projects—guiding teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving projects from preconstruction through closeout.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead all phases of construction projects valued at $25M–$35M+, including scheduling, budgeting, and contract management
- Develop and manage master project schedules in partnership with Superintendents
- Oversee preconstruction efforts: constructability reviews, logistics planning, and alternate means/methods collaboration
- Serve as the primary client liaison, building and maintaining strong relationships with Owners, Architects, and Consultants
- Assign team responsibilities, mentor junior staff, and support employee onboarding/training
- Manage change orders, track budgets, handle subcontractor performance, and maintain cash flow
- Monitor job progress, lead subcontractor meetings, and proactively identify risks or opportunities
- Ensure project documentation, closeout materials, and status reports are delivered with accuracy and professionalism
- Enforce contract compliance and apply conflict resolution techniques to maintain momentum and resolve challenges
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects of $25M+
- Proven success leading multiple projects simultaneously in the $35M+ range
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- Deep understanding of contracts, risk mitigation, and cost controls
- Effective communicator with strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills
- Comfortable presenting to clients and managing high-profile stakeholder interactions
- Bilingual capabilities a plus
