Position Overview A respected developer/GC is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on a Skilled Nursing / Senior Living project in Doral. This role is responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is built safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate has direct healthcare or senior living construction experience, understands the complexities of regulated environments, and thrives leading large trade partner teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage all daily on-site construction activities
• Coordinate subcontractors and self-perform crews
• Enforce site safety and OSHA compliance
• Maintain project schedule and short-interval planning
• Lead daily huddles and weekly subcontractor meetings
• Perform quality control inspections across all trades
• Review drawings, specs, and resolve field conflicts
• Coordinate inspections with AHJs and healthcare authorities
• Track manpower, productivity, and site logistics
• Partner closely with Project Manager on schedule and cost impacts
• Maintain site documentation, photos, and daily reports
• Drive punch list completion and turnover process

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction field leadership experience
• Healthcare, Skilled Nursing, or Senior Living experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience managing multi-trade, fast-paced job sites
• Strong knowledge of life safety systems, MEP coordination, and infection control
• Experience with ground-up and major renovations
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
