Superintendent – Ground-Up Affordable Housing (Wrap Style)

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a ground-up affordable housing project (wrap-style construction) in Miami. This role will initially shadow a long-tenured General Superintendent (15+ years with the company) ahead of a project breaking ground in approximately two months. Ideal candidates bring stability, strong field leadership, and a proven track record delivering multifamily or similar large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all field operations for ground-up wrap-style affordable housing project
Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics from preconstruction through completion
Ensure project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Maintain strict adherence to quality control and project specifications
Work closely with the General Superintendent during preconstruction and ramp-up phase
Lead site meetings, inspections, and daily reporting
Drive schedule milestones and proactively resolve field issues
Qualifications:
10+ years of construction experience with significant tenure at one company preferred
Strong background in ground-up multifamily construction (wrap-style experience highly preferred)
Experience with affordable housing projects is a plus
Proven leadership managing large subcontractor teams and complex schedules
Strong knowledge of Miami/South Florida construction environment and codes
Ability to step into a leadership role quickly and run projects independently
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $140,000 – $160,000
