Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Reports to: Service Manager
Focus Areas: Higher education, K-12, hospitals, hotels, government, and other institutional facilities.
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our team. You will be responsible for servicing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial environments. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems for a variety of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the direct customer contact, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems.
- Install, commission, and maintain HVAC systems from new installations to retrofits.
- Use cutting-edge technology and tools to diagnose issues, repair units, and propose system upgrades.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing updates, addressing issues, and recommending system enhancements.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain accountability of company equipment.
- Work flexible hours, including overtime and occasional overnight stays, as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of HVAC service experience or equivalent technical education.
- Proficiency with handheld computers (smartphones, tablets).
- Ability to work in varied physical conditions, including noisy equipment rooms and extreme weather.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- EPA Certification required.
- Experience with HVAC troubleshooting preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling.
- Ability to lift and move items of varying weights.
