Civil/Structural Engineer
On behalf of a major PMC, WRS are looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer to work in Rome on a contract basis. This will be a contract role up until December 2025, with potnetial for extension, based residentially in Rome, paying an hourly rate in USD
The role will be supporting a large refinery expansion project, which is currently going into FEED stage.
Job Duties include:
- Supervision of civil and Structural engineering execution in detailed design, production of calculations for heavy equipment foundations, buildings and steel structures.
- FEED/EPC Analysis and design of modular steel structures including sea transportation, lifting analysis, skidding analysis, load out and stress analysis.
- FEED/EPC Design of structural steel and precast pipe racks.
- FEED/EPC Design of structural steel technological structures, process plant structures.
- FEED/EPC Design of blast resistant buildings.
- FEED/EPC Design of compressor/table top, pumps and similar types of machine foundations
Ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience
- Previous FEED experience on large petrochemical projects
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience working in a PMC/PMT capacity
- Right to work in the EU
