Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX
Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000, based on experience
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dallas, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with 5-7 years of experience who is looking to contribute to a range of exciting projects and continue developing their career. The role involves working on mechanical systems design for various commercial, institutional, and healthcare projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and support mechanical systems for schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings
- Work with HVAC, plumbing, and load calculations for mechanical systems
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
- Assist in the preparation of reports, technical documents, and calculations
- Review designs for compliance with building codes and regulations
- Contribute to the optimization of engineering solutions and project coordination
- Provide technical support throughout the design and construction phases
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of mechanical engineering experience
- Experience with designing systems for schools, healthcare, and other commercial buildings
- Proficient in engineering design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification preferred, PE (Professional Engineer) in process or achieved is a plus
- Strong knowledge of building codes, mechanical systems, and engineering best practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
