Mechanical Project Manager – Commercial Construction
Location: Tampa, FL
We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing team specializing in commercial construction projects. This role requires a strong background in mechanical systems, project coordination, and budgeting to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior leadership to manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate mechanical construction activities.
- Oversee safety and quality control to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting and cost tracking.
- Handle change orders and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate and manage key subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, and procurement of equipment.
- Resolve challenges related to labor, materials, and contract administration.
- Maintain effective communication with design, purchasing, and fabrication teams to streamline project execution.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in construction project management, preferably on commercial sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction software such as MS Project, PlanGrid, and Bluebeam.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
