About the Role An international energy technology group is seeking an experienced Indirect Buyer – Engineering Services to support its Central Europe and Africa operations. The role will focus on sourcing, contracting, and supplier management within the engineering and R&D services categories, while also contributing to the digital transformation of procurement processes.
This position is based on-site at a major industrial facility dedicated to high-tech engineering and production activities.
Main Responsibilities

  • Manage sourcing and purchasing of engineering and research-related services within assigned regions.
  • Lead negotiations and implement pricing agreements and contracts in line with internal procurement procedures.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze bids, and manage supplier contracts and purchase orders.
  • Support stakeholders during contract execution, including dispute resolution and supplier performance reviews.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers; manage supplier risk and compliance.
  • Contribute to the rollout of digital procurement tools (e.g., ARIBA, Power BI dashboards, ERP integration).
  • Maintain all procurement and contractual documentation, including reports and meeting records.

Profile & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering or technical procurement, ideally in energy, R&D, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, contractual, and supplier management skills.
  • Working knowledge of procurement processes and international sourcing best practices.
  • Fluent in English (French or Polish would be an advantage).
  • Competent with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and ERP systems such as SAP, IFS, OASIS, or GEOS.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional projects.

  • Must have own PPE (helmet, safety shoes, glasses, etc.) and comply with site HSE and internal regulations.
