Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager in the HVAC industry to handle estimating, coordinating, and managing the cost, materials, and labor for HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HVAC systems, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Estimating: Review project specs, conduct site visits, and prepare accurate estimates for HVAC projects. Maintain a log of competitive bid proposals and evaluate subcontractor bids. Stay updated on industry trends and attend pre-bid meetings.
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of HVAC projects, including scheduling, resource management, and procurement. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders and track project budgets.
- Additional Duties: Prepare project reports, change orders, and final documentation. Participate in punch lists, training, and ensure proper service agreement connections.
Requirements:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years in the HVAC industry.
- Skills: Knowledge of HVAC systems, strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Proficient in estimating software, Microsoft Office, and interpreting project specs.
- Traits: Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail.
