Mechanical Sales Representative – Orlando, FL
A leading mechanical contractor in the Orlando, FL area is seeking an experienced Mechanical Sales Representative to join their growing team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with one of the most respected names in commercial HVAC and mechanical construction, focusing on developing long-term relationships and driving new business across Central Florida.
Position Overview:
The Mechanical Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in the commercial HVAC and mechanical services market. This role requires a motivated, relationship-driven individual with proven experience in mechanical systems sales, HVAC service agreements, and retrofit or design-build projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with commercial and industrial clients.
- Identify opportunities for HVAC service contracts, system upgrades, and mechanical retrofit projects.
- Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to prepare proposals and project scopes.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals through strategic account management.
- Represent the company professionally in the marketplace, attending industry events and networking functions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical, HVAC, or construction sales (service, retrofit, or design-build).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, mechanical design, and energy solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
