Sales/Service Manager – Mechanical Contractor

A well-established mechanical contractor in Central Florida is seeking a Sales/Service Manager to lead and grow its HVAC service division. Position Overview The Sales/Service Manager will lead the HVAC service department, manage daily operations, and develop new business opportunities. This key leadership role oversees technicians, dispatch, and service operations while collaborating closely with ownership and office staff to achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department, including scheduling, dispatch, and field performance
- Develop and execute strategies to grow service and maintenance business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Generate service agreements and pursue long-term maintenance contracts
- Oversee staffing, training, and performance management of the service team
- Ensure customer satisfaction, quality standards, and profitability across service work
- Collaborate with ownership and office staff to align operations with business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC service management experience, preferably in commercial markets
- Proven success in business development and account management within mechanical services
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, service procedures, and maintenance contracts
- Ability to manage a field team and coordinate with internal administrative staff
- Proficiency with service dispatch software and CRM systems is preferred
