Role Summary
Lead the installation function to ensure the safe and efficient execution of elevators and escalators installation on site until the handover to the customer and maintenance team. Lead the team to deliver projects in adherence to safety and quality requirements, schedule, and cost controls across multi-project portfolio. Develop a top-performer and talent team, remove execution blockers, and maintain strong stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare installation department quarterly plans to achieve the quarterly objectives of the department in accordance with the plans set by the planning manager and the company quarterly objectives
- Ensure the delivery of site works in alignment with the master plan; request changes on plans when required
- Manage the work transition between mechanical and electrical teams smoothly and in line with plans
- Allocate required resources to execute projects effectively and efficiently; ensure capacity planning in coordination with Operation and People & Culture departments
- Lead and develop a talented, top-performers NI Supervisors, team members, and subcontractors; hire, onboard, coach, and manage their performance
- Monitor projects progress and provide prevention/recovery actions to ensure delivery within deadlines and quality standards
- Manage installation department budget and labor pays; review and approve purchase requests submitted by supervisors related to team needs (e.g., tools, uniforms, Travel Expenses, etc.); approve invoices and forward them to Finance
- Set processes and policies related to installation works and ensure the team understand and follow it
- Facilitate regular meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions with the team and stakeholders
- Prepare and present projects reports to management, highlighting key metrics, milestones, and issues
- Coordinate with Planning to identifying projects’ potential risks with and developing mitigation strategies to eliminate/minimize impact on project timelines and delivery
- Ensure Installation Supervisors notify Planning at each contractual milestone for updating the progress reports, and inform Finance for invoicing
- Approve decisions related to spare parts replacement and manage warehouse withdrawals, whether free of charge or billable
- Coordinate regularly with Technical Manager to develop the department’s staff both technically and procedurally
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent); Master Degree is a plus
- Experience: 7 years of relevant experience preferrable in elevators/escalators or construction businesses, with the last 2 years in a supervisory/managerial position
- Project Management: Multi-site installation portfolios
- Software: MS Project, Excel & Word, and ability to read AutoCAD
- Language: Able to read, write, and speak in English, and read and understand technical documents. Proficiency in Arabic language is a must

Working Conditions
