Key Responsibilities:

 
– Establish, maintain, and implement project procedures related to regulatory compliance.
– Provide adequate reporting to the project management.
– Serve as a key interface between the Houston operations center and Paris for regulatory activities, ensuring receipt of all relevant information from Houston to enable enhanced coordination within the Paris operations center. Establish and maintain coordination of workflows between the centers.
– Support the disciplines regarding local and national regulatory requirements and inform the project of regulations impacting each phase, contributing to clarification when necessary. Consolidate information and ensure follow-up.
– Ensure the development and implementation of the regulatory compliance plan.
– Establish and maintain a register of permits and authorizations.
– Support the disciplines in implementing, monitoring, and reporting on FERC conditions.
– Consolidate all data related to labeling, stamping, and import requirements and support the disciplines in tracking these activities.
– Ensure that all required compliance activities are performed by subcontractors and suppliers.
– Serve as the internal and external point of contact for the aforementioned activities.

  Required Expertise:

 

  • You are the ideal candidate if you hold an engineering degree or equivalent,
  • You have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience on onshore projects in the oil and gas sector, as well as experience collaborating with thirdparty organizations, national authorities, and in regulatory compliance.
  • You have thorough expertise in EPC project execution.
  • Experience working with North American regulatory content is an asset.
  • Experience in Louisiana is an advantage.
  • You are able to work with thirdparty organizations, local authorities, the client, suppliers, subcontractors, and internally with multiple disciplines.
  • You have a solid understanding of the certification process, as well as a good grasp of the roles, responsibilities, and boundaries between suppliers, subcontractors, contractors, and clients.
  • You have technical knowledge in systems and packages, construction, and testing philosophy.
  • Experience in operations, engineering, construction, and commissioning, along with an understanding of engineering processes, is an advantage.
