About the Role Our client is hiring experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to oversee complex Water/Wastewater construction projects in the Southeast. This role involves leadership over field and project operations from planning through close-out, with responsibility for cost, quality, schedule, safety, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery from pre-construction through completion, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality standards are met.
- Provide on-site leadership, managing field personnel, subcontractors, and self-perform crews.
- Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate inspections, permitting, and field documentation (daily reports, progress photos, as-builts).
- Manage materials handling, subcontractor performance, tool tracking, and jobsite cleanliness.
- Support accurate timekeeping, cost tracking, quantity reporting, and scope change communication.
- Maintain strong client and team relationships, promoting a collaborative project culture.
- Participate in post-construction reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing water/wastewater treatment facility construction projects. WWTP, Pump Stations, etc.
- 7+ years (PM) / 12+ years (Sr. PM) in a construction leadership role, preferably with self-perform experience.
- Expertise in cast-in-place concrete, piping systems, mechanical equipment installation.
- Strong understanding of contract documents and field coordination.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); scheduling software (P6 or MS Project) a plus.
- OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, SWPPP, and other relevant safety certifications preferred.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects from the field and office perspectives.
